Community senter Prosveta 1870

Ever since it has had an inestimable value for the formation of the spirit and culture of generations of Svilengrad inhabitants. Amateur artists of various sex, age, nation and religion work and create there. In 2007 a branch of the community senter was established in Edirne, Republic of Turkey.
On both Bulgarian and international stages “Prosveta-1870” Community senter is represented by: Brass Band, Folk Choir, Choir, Female Chamber Folk Band, Drama Group, Children’s Drama Group, Folk Dance Formation, Folk Dance Group, Children’s Dance Group, Children’s Folk Group, Rock Group – two formations, Chamber Band, Male Koledari Group – a group of traditional Bulgarian carol-singers, School for Applied Art, School for Piano.
„Prosveta-1870” People’s Community Club participates in the organisation and implementation of various cultural events of Svilengrad Municipality. During the past years it has also participated in various European projects.
