ComAp stands for “Comissão de Apadrinhamento”, Committee for International Students.
The ComAp story began with a simple aim to create an active International Community, by buddying exchange and international, especially Erasmus students in Porto, with ISCAP Portuguese Students.
From its early beginning in 2011, ComAp has been providing help, fun and memorable moments to its target public – exchange and international students – by offering several types of experiences and services focusing on intercultural integration.
Our main focus lies on offering the best academic and intercultural experience to visiting students, through buddying, the promotion of social and cultural events and the feeling of a pleasant experience. Moreover, we aim at creating lifelong friendships!
ComAp is personally involved to address all the members of the international community in ISCAP, which in turn creates a long-lasting relationship with everyone that comes across, making it a better experience for all Erasmus in Porto and other kind of International Programs.
It´s from the concern of the wellbeing of our relationships, that our success is born and developed.
“The wellbeing of our International Community is at the heart of all we do. Yet the enjoyment of our students is why we do it.”
Organization Performance:
The ComAp organization is a voluntary group from the Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto (ISCAP), formed by young and talented people who work with the supervision and alongside of the International Office at ISCAP (GRI).
Each semester we work with more than 15 nationalities from all around the world, who are being accompanied by more then 40 Portuguese buddies.
