CivicLab – Center for Civic Resilience is a Bulgarian public-benefit youth organisation working to strengthen civic participation, community resilience and the active involvement of young people in local and European life.
We work with young people, volunteers, local activists, rural and small-town communities, and members of underrepresented groups. Through non-formal education, intercultural learning and participatory methods, we help participants develop practical skills, confidence, creativity and the ability to engage constructively with their communities and local institutions.
Our main areas of work include democratic participation, human rights and social inclusion, youth well-being, volunteering, media and digital literacy, intercultural dialogue and local development. Our activities include youth exchanges, training courses, workshops, community initiatives and awareness-raising activities, with a particular focus on smaller towns and rural communities, including Elena Municipality.
CivicLab is interested in cooperation under Erasmus+ and other European programmes. We welcome partnerships with organisations that value inclusion, active citizenship, creativity and meaningful youth participation.
Creative Erasmus+ youth exchange exploring the invisible pressures young people face through non-formal learning and participatory arts in Bulgaria.
