Civic Resistance (Qëndresa Qytetare)

Civic Resistance is a non-profit organization based in Tirana, Albania and is the space for those who believe in the power of the citizen and are determined not to be part of the political system. We believe that being a citizen with power is better than pretending the chair of a government.

Our goal is to protect human dignity and personality and to strengthen citizenship through depoliticization, orientation towards free initiative, business promotion and youth creativity, increasing consumer vigilance, raising national awareness and orienting towards a qualitative education.

Our objectives are:
1. Strengthening of civic communities in neighborhoods, schools and administrative units.
2. Advocating for a dignified public service to the citizens.
3. Consumer protection based on national strategies and applicable laws.
4. Raising national awareness and promoting a qualitative education system.
5. Protection against discrimination and violence in public institutions and families.
