Children’s Rights Culture and Art Association

Under the roof of UNICEF Turkey National Committee we worked voluntarily in between 2005 - 2012. After that we founded a association and continue our work as "Children's Rights Culture and Art Association" since 2013. We are engaged in artistic and cultural studies with children and adults to put forward the universal direction of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
One of the important works we have done in this area is the International Children's Rights Film Festival, which we are conducting with volunteers of 82 adults / 12 children. In the festival, which will be organised for the eighth time in 2019, 231 films selected among the 55 countries have been presented to 37434 children/adults. 133 films, 145 photographs, 191 arts made by children were exhibited at the festival. 478 children had participated our workshops about children's rights, cinema, photography, painting, animation, media literacy, cartoon and music.
Partners of the festival are Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Education, Bursa Governorship, Metropolitan Municipality of Bursa, Nilüfer Municipality, UNICEF Turkey National Committee, Anadolu University, Civil Think EU Program and Matuku Film. (Support was also given from the Dutch Royal at the 7th Festival.)
