We represent a regional part (Chernivtsi) of Ukrainian Civil Network OPORA, a non-governmental, non-political and financially independent network of activists.
Strategic objectives of the Civil network “OPORA” are:
• Ensure the openness and transparency of state and local government in Ukraine
• Support and develop the social groups and environments at local communities
• Develop and implement a training systems of community activists
Priority areas:
• Educational policy – public observation mechanisms for independent external testing (EIT) and admission to higher education in Ukraine
• Election process – long-term monitoring and analysis of the electoral process
• Youth work – Erasmus+ / EVS projects
• Social Media, Open data and other IT activities
Methods of work: monitoring and public control; research and policy analysis; civic, law and human rights education; social media lobbying; civic journalism, legislation development.
7 day training course. 40 participants will learn and practice new media instruments (E-mail, RSS, Search, Blogging, Facebook, video sharing, Podcasting etc).
YOUTH EXCHANGE. The main aim of the project is to find signs of past that have been left by other nationalities in Chernivtsi and in Chernivtsi region.
