The Partner-Finding Tool
Check-IN Association is working since 2010 with different projects in focus on Rural Areas, such as european citizenship, active citizenship, democracy, entrepreneurship, project management, sustainability, multicultural dialogue and non-formal education. Our team has several years of experience in national and international projects and works in writing, development, coordination and implementation of different projects mainly in the framework of the Erasmus + Programme (KA1/KA2 /KA3 & Sport), European Solidarity Corps, Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values, Horizon Europe and other EU Programmes. we also coordinated a 1 year project with Europe and South America about Empowerment, Creativity & Entrepreneurship. At national level, we made the financial management of 4 projects inserted in the national program "Escolhas"..
At a local level, we empower our youngsters to develop their ideas, be active and have an entrepreneur spirit. Nowadays, Portugal is facing a huge problem on unemployment, especially with youngsters. So we try to promote the entrepreneurship spirit and the active participation in order to overcome that.
Our youngsters need this kind of activities, not only the ones that we do at a national level, but
especially the international ones, to open more their horizons and perspectives. We are currently developing a Youth Center of Non Formal Education in Beja, pioneer in Portugal, in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth (IPDJ). In this center, we implement trainings, volunteers empowerment activities and opportunities, intergenerational activities and information on Europe, European Union, Erasmus +, European Solidarity Corps, local opportunities and other projects and workshops. We develop several workshops and trainings to empower and raise the skills of youngsters, youth workers and future trainers. Among the trainings, we developed Dragon Dreaming method (Project design), Leadership (to all our team leaders of Youth Exchanges), Plan B (Simulation game about citizenship) and other important topics.
We are currently partners in a different KA1 projects (YE and TC), accreditated as coordinating/hosting and sending European Solidarity Corps association and more, we were partner in KA2 capacity building projects where we developed 2 educational boardgames about financial literacy and conflict management. The team of partners is composed by experienced international trainers, being some of them working directly with SALTO in trainings like Tic Tac, Atoq and Appetizer.
