Challedu- Challenging Education

'Challedu- Play, learn, evolve' is an Educational Non Governmental Organization with the aim of developing and implementing game solutions in order to transform the learning experience to a creative, interactive and holistic procedure and promote the inclusion in the society. Its projects include:
- creation of game-based material and games of all kinds (role playing games , experiential games , card games, board games, digital games, spacial games etc) based on school curriculum, tailor made specifications, specific learners groups or specific vulnerable group.
- capacity building workshops to educators and trainers on specific predesigned game-based tools and solutions
- capacity building workshops to educators, different scientists (phycologists, doctors, museum curators etc), NGO , etc, focusing on delivering them knowledge on how to create game based solutions according to their expertise.

Challedu has a lot of expertise in planning and developing game scenarios, teaching and training material, educational games, train the trainer workshops and capacity building workshops on game-based solutions. Challedu has created a number of educational, cultural and inclusive games that has been presented in schools, in 'Researchers Night', in "Athens Science festival", in 'Technopolis- Innovathens', in “Open Schools Athens”. Challedu has also trained many educators of primary and secondary schools in specific game-tools the team has designed (ex. The factory of life- DNA, The Engineers of the Universe- Physics). Finally, our team deliver an innovative type of workshops where different scientists, people from NGO, vulnerable groups etc, design their own game-based solutions with our direction (ex. Bridge Game jam, GArch Jam).
The beneficiaries of our services are children / young people, educators and people who are interested in developing innovative game-based solutions for their groups.
The purpose of our activity is to contribute to the transformation of education, the social integration of people from vulnerable groups and the empowerment of the society.
Our company has specialists in game-design / education and social care. The organization's collaborators have been selected in accordance with their competencies.
At the moment Challedu develops the following projects
- Bridge Game Jam: festival and workshops on of creation game-based solutions for elderly people and people with dementia
- Legends of disability: Workshops to NGO members on delivering role-modeling game-based material to their focus groups
- “Alzina and the magic tunel of Algebra”: Design of Interactive ebook with games learning maths to students.
