Centrul Cultural-Filantropic "Cuvioasa Parascheva"

Our centre is a Christian youth association, focusing on activities with two main targets: young people and the elderly, not only in the local community, but also in the whole region. If our programs destined to aged people are more philanthropic-oriented: hot meals to deprived families and juridic assistance, those regarding young people range from private lessons with pupils willing to improving their knowledge for national exams, a kindergarten department, hosting of Swiss volunteers for more than seven years, to dialogue groups on spiritual matters, volunteering education, scholarships, library and conference programs, free cultural visits and tours in the country and all over Europe. All provided programs are offered for free, by help of volunteers.
