Centro Internazionale delle Culture Ubuntu

Ubuntu is a multicultural centre offering services to migrant families such as kindergarten, after school help. Ubuntu works with youngsters who got out of jail. We support nearly 50 families in Palermo city centre. Ubuntu provides services and support to young people with migrant background and their families. Ubuntu also hosts youngsters with fewer opportunities (migrants, people who got out of jail or youngsters entrusted to social services). Ubuntu is a volunteering association founded in 2006 in the historical market of BallarĂ², a disadvanteged area following the philosophy of its name, Ubuntu (which means community) with the main objective of supporting families with migrant background living in BallarĂ² area.
