Centre Socio-Culturel La Rose des Vents

Since its creation in 2006, the Aix Nord Sociocultural Center has worked closely with the residents of the area. It plays a central role as a social pillar for the community of Hauts de Aix-en-Provence, which includes a total population of 13,000 residents. It encompasses two districts under the city's urban policy, namely neighborhoods living in precarity : Beisson and Saint Eutrope.

The Sociocultural Center La Rose des Vents is primarily a local space that welcomes all members of the local communities, offering services and activities while ensuring social diversity. It contributes to the creation of social, family, and intergenerational
bonds.

The activities and services of the center are founded and implemented based on our main objective: "to break the isolation of residents, prevent and reduce exclusions, strengthen solidarity between people by integrating them into collective projects, allowing them to be active participants and take on an active role within a collective or in the community."

As a structure for social life animation, the center pursues four main goals:
-Personal growth, confidence, and autonomy
-Solidarity and living together
-Respect, dignity, and the right to difference
-Democracy and citizenship

The association is committed to:
Providing solutions that match the needs and expectations of the population.
Supporting individuals in achieving their autonomy, building their path, and integrating into society.
Encouraging projects that support intergenerational relationships.
Establishing and cultivating partnerships for the well-being of the population.

Health promotion, parenting support, culture, and cultural mediation.

Childhood:
Extracurricular leisure activities and educational holiday camps.

Global Animation:
Access to rights, social mediation, improving living conditions, and organizing events to enliven the community.

Youth and Participation:
Leisure and cultural activities on Wednesdays and during school holidays, educational support, socio-professional support, informal time welcoming, self-financing projects.
