The Centre Mondial de la Paix, des Libertés et des Droits de l'Homme is located in Verdun, symbol of the First World War and the French-German reconciliation. Its goals are to give a peace perspective to the battlefields, showing peace is possible even after three main wars.
Several ways are used : mainly temporary exhibitions (about First World War, French-German relations, human rights), but also international peace meetings, history book fair, concerts, humanitarian market... our programme is on www.cmpaix.eu for current activities.
