Centre for European Dialogue and Cultural Diplomacy

The CEDCD Centre is an independent non-profit, Non-Governmental Organization, established in 2012, its main purpose being to contribute to the development of the cultural and European dialogue, the Community values and cultural diplomacy.
Our objectives are:
• The study and organization of research regarding public and cultural diplomacy, the European and International decision-making process, the development of civil society, the mechanisms of European communication, promoting democracy and human rights;
• The formulation and proposal of solutions for the development of the national and European policies in the fields of: culture and audio-visual; education and innovation; youth and sport; employment; environment; regional development; rural development; tourism; International relations and external affairs;
• Promoting the active European citizenship, the European dialogue and communication;
• Promoting cultural diplomacy, the inter-ethnic and inter-confessional dialogue, interculturality, multiculturalism, non-discrimination and equality, promoting the European Community and the national, regional and local values and policies;
• Supporting the initiatives for the promotion of European cultural values through research, civic action, cultural activities, education;
• Running programs of professional development.
