CENTRE D'ESTUDIS DE L'ESPLAI

The “ Centre d’Estudis de l’Esplai” (centre for youth activities studies) is a private entity without desire of economic profit, which offers his service to all the Balearic society in the field of youth work and leisure activities. It was founded in 1979 for a group of people with wide experience in leisure activities and in the works with young people in Mallorca to cover the needs of formation and training of youth workers. The “Centre d’Estudis de l’Esplai” (C.E.E.) was recognized by the Spanish Culture Department (Ministerio de Cultura) in 1982 and by the General youth Department of the Balearic government ( Direcció General de Joventut), being registered with the number 2 in the register of youth workers formations Schools in the Balearic Island. The C.E.E. is an education entity that develops his activity in the field of formation of young people. When they finish their studies are youth workers and Directors of leisure Clubs, Youth Clubs, Scouts Groups, Campsites, Colonies, Work camps... Our school is open to every people who are interested by the leisure world, besides to respect our training style. We have participated in international youth projects since 1996. Taking part and developing activities on the frame of the E.U. youth programmes “Youth for Europe”, “Youth”, “Youth in Action”, Euromed Programme, and organising international work camps, international trainings, international cooperation development projects, actions and awareness campaigns in other countries: Morocco, Colombia and Centre America.
