CEM centro educazione ai media pavia

Cem is a no profit association of educational and vocational training addressed to social promotion.
It was born in 2007, as result of the collaboration among the researchers working in the Communication Department, the Psychology Department of the University of Pavia and a group of teachers and trainers.
CEM organizes:
- Courses for teachers about application of media and ICT to teaching methodology.
- Video maker and video editing courses
- Media Education projects for the students of schools. These projects are focused on media decoding, media productions and a safe use of Internet.
- courses about video and documentary productions (in collaboration with Pavia University)
- software to be used for didactic purposes
- courses for adults immigrants for the reflexion on their linguistic former experiences.

It promotes the diffusion of Media Education through the organization of:
- conferences and courses opened to teachers and the whole community
- laboratories for schools
creation of multimedia product: dvd¸ video
training courses on the use of the video (video making and video editing) and the use of webradio
training courses for a linguistic transversal awareness
the participation in local and European projects focused on different aspects of the Media Education.
