Cedoc (University of Catania)

The Center of Documentation and Studies on complex organizations and local systems ( CEDOC ) is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Catania. The Center is dedicated to scientific research, feasibility studies, process analysis, documentation and training with specific orientation to local development policies in a systemic, multidisciplinary perspective, with particular attention to non-economic conditions of local development.

The CEDOC activities are aimed both to the academic that all public and private entities of the territory, in a broad partnership logic and "network system".
In the academic field the CEDOC mainly aims to contribute to the training of young scholars by promoting basic and applied research, and encourage collaboration between the University of Catania scientific structures with universities and national and international research organizations.

In respect of the territory CEDOC activities consist in 'assistance during the strategic planning, development, implementation and evaluation of development policies, and research-action, process analysis and documentation, training courses, conferences and workshops
