CEDDET, Center for Distance Education for Economic and Technological Development, is a private public Foundation promoted in 2001 by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain and the World Bank, whose mission is to promote economic and social development through digital technologies.
Our actions are supported by new technologies to develop e-learning and blended-learning programs, virtual platforms, expert networks (30,700 experts), virtual schools and technical assistance. As specialists in Digital Learning and Educational Technology we can bring great value to your next Erasmus+ project.
Since its creation, CEDDET has developed more than 1275 online courses, almost 300 face-to-face seminars and about 30 networks of thematic experts, thus training around 40,000 professionals, partnering with over 150 organizations.
We are looking for partnerships with organisations that want to include in their project proposals: online course (for example as part of preparation phase) or tools for blended learning (educational programs which combine e-learning with traditional classroom methods). We aim to promote e-learning among youth workers and youth organizations, examine opportunities on how e-learning can be used in the context of non-formal education and empower youth workers with basic skills in developing online courses.
Considering that the European Commission just adopted a Digital Education Action Plan with 11 initiatives to support technology-use and digital competence development in education & youth, we believe that e-learning & MOOCs will be essential in your projects.
