Cecropia Hub is a non-profit organization based in Serres, Greece, established in 2023, evolving from an informal group founded in 2019. Our name, Cecropia, is inspired by Apis mellifera cecropia, the Greek bee, symbolizing hard work, community, and sustainability—values that drive our mission.

Our Mission

We are a community-driven youth NGO dedicated to empowering young people, fostering sustainability, and supporting rural development through education, environmental action, and digital tools. We strive to bridge local and international opportunities for rural youth, strengthening their European identity while encouraging active citizenship and environmental responsibility.

Sustainability & Environmental Awareness – Nature-based solutions, zero waste, climate action, and ecological restoration in rural settings.

Rural Youth Empowerment – Strengthening social inclusion, youth participation, and green entrepreneurship.
