CEAIN (Centro de Acogida de Inmigrantes)

CEAin is an independent entity of reference in the sector, which is located close to the people and the territory in which we work, to develop innovative and efficient responses focused on the values of equity, interculturality and citizenship. Account the changes that are operating in our environment.

Since 2010, CEAIN has been promoting the Intercultural Community Intervention Project (ICI) in the South Zone of Jerez,
The ICI Project aims to foster intercultural citizen coexistence, through the creation of a community process with three key players: citizens, technical resources and institutions.

The initiative consists of a preventive and promotional intervention that fosters intercultural relations, favoring social cohesion and the empowerment of society towards coexistence and community development.

To this end, the dynamics of collaboration between the social agents of the territory that contribute to the promotion of citizen and intercultural coexistence are promoted.

Ceain , carry out, also a social programme, within this features:
1. Reception
Basic information and orientation service for immigrants, deriving from other specific programs of the association according to the demand and mediating to support access to the standardized resources of the community (translations, accompaniments, specific assessments, etc.)

 2.Intercultural Community Mediation.
Accompaniment of personal and family integration processes in coordination with other professionals and community resources, identifying the barriers and adaptations needed from the perspective of cultural diversity.

3. Promotion of the participation of immigrants in community spaces and promotion of intercultural awareness actions.

4.Program to support access to housing and comprehensive social intervention.
Orientation and intervention in the socio-family, socio-educational and socio-health areas, valuation and granting of aid for basic needs and to support the access and maintenance of accommodation, personalized itineraries of social insertion.

5.Legal attention.
Legal advice specialized in matters of foreigners to immigrants, employers and professionals. Individual attention by appointment. Assists, accompaniments, administrative and judicial appeals.

6.Prisons Program.
Intervention with foreign prisoners in the penitentiary center of Puerto II in order to advise them and mediate with their relatives, lawyers and institutions involved.

Besides, The CEAIN Labor Area is composed of a multidisciplinary team of professionals and volunteers who aim to improve employability and facilitate the labor insertion of the people we serve.

1. "Globalemplea"
Aimed at immigrants at risk of exclusion, it is a program funded by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security, which we develop throughout Andalusia within the framework of the Andalusia Acoge Federation

Services: work orientation through personalized itineraries, Employment Club, workshops in transversal skills to improve employability, workshops for the use of ICT in job search, information and awareness on social and labor rights and duties, support for effective search Of employment through different group and personalized sessions.

2. Program Incorporates
It is a labor intermediation program promoted by "Obra Social la Caixa" throughout the country and in Jerez develops CEAIN, bringing together the needs of the business community with the needs of the social fabric. Networking with the collaborating companies and with the 44 social entities that make up the Incorpora Andalucía Group is the main asset of this program.

Services: advice to companies throughout the process, analyzing and defining profiles, reporting on bonuses, etc; Free management of job vacancies; Corporate Social Responsibility Program.

3.Formative Point Incorporates
Aimed at improving the employability of those people who can not access other training activities, the Formative Point Incorporates constitutes a bridge towards the labor insertion, through a personalized, proactive and group coaching, that involves the business fabric of the territory in Technical training and practice development.
