Camp Leaders Association is a non-governmental organisation based in Türkiye, operating in 48 camp centres nationwide with more than 2,000 active volunteers. The association focuses on empowering camp leaders, youth workers and young people through leadership development, volunteering systems and non-formal education.
Using camps as experiential learning environments, the organisation designs and implements capacity-building programmes, trainings and youth-led initiatives that promote active citizenship, youth participation and social responsibility. Camp Leaders Association works closely with young volunteers to strengthen their personal, social and leadership competencies while fostering inclusive and safe learning spaces.
The association was established by a team of experienced camp leaders with a strong background in EU-funded youth projects and international cooperation. Camp Leaders Association is open to partnerships across Europe and actively engages in national and international youth projects, particularly within the Erasmus+ Programme and European youth cooperation frameworks.
The organisation aims to enhance the quality of youth camps and youth work by contributing to capacity-building initiatives, trainings and international mobility activities. Through structured partnerships, learning opportunities and cross-border cooperation, Camp Leaders Association supports the professional development of camp leaders and contributes to the quality and impact of youth work at local, national and European levels.
We are looking for partner organisations for an Erasmus+ KA152-YOU focused on outdoor education, social inclusion, solidarity and living together.
