Big Bang Ballers France

Founded in 2010 in Grenoble, France, Big Bang Ballers is a non-profit organization that uses sport as a tool for social inclusion, intercultural dialogue and active citizenship. Through innovative and accessible sports activities, the association promotes participation for all, particularly among refugees, migrants, women, young people and other underrepresented groups. For example, we developed alternative rules to traditional sports games to make different types of person play together, and we implemented diversity-chosen sport sessions.

Welcomin' Clubs is one of our flagship initiatives. The project supports sports clubs in becoming more welcoming and inclusive environments. Through training, exchange of practical tools and capacity-building activities, the Welcomin' Clubs movement helps clubs strengthen their inclusive practices and use sport as a driver of integration, belonging and community engagement. This Erasmus+ project is part of this Welcomin' Clubs movement and intends to develop it further through international exchanges.
