Beyond Experience

B.E. is NGO based in Sofia. We work with youth with special needs, increasing mental health literacy among different target groups, as well as we use sport and outdoor activities as a tool for inclusion and building communities. Our team has expertise in psychology, special education, adapting educational content for people with special needs, working with youth with disabilities, sport professionals, etc.

We focus on working across the following key areas:
1. Develop projects and activities related to upskilling young people and NGO representatives regarding their personal and professional development;
2. Develop and implement digital skills for individuals and digital transformation for organisations to build capacity and critical understanding on how to implement the opportunities offered by digital technologies for teaching and learning in all types of education and training across different sectors
3. Organize raising awareness campaigns
4. Delivery of educational and capacity-building activities
5. Dissemination activities and follow-ups

Being involved in international projects, we are united around the idea of promoting education, European awareness and active citizenship. The main aim is to provide the community with different possibilities to spend their free time, improve social work and facilitate the integration of young and adult people into society especially those of special educational needs and intellectual disabilities involving them in our initiatives and encouraging their creative spirit that helps increasing youth participation in both local community and society in general. Our work is also directed towards supporting the families of those youths who face different challenges
