baLTic (VsI Baltijos saviugdos centras)

baLTic Self-Development Centre (VsI Baltijos Saviugdos centras) is non-profit organisation based in Vilnius, Lithuania established in 2017 by the founder, who was already active and experienced in management of European Projects, non-formal learning, and had the vision of how to inspire and educate the young people as well as adults. baLTic Self-Development Centre is focusing on the following areas of the national, civic and cultural identity development; Non-formal education; Integration of vulnerable social groups; professional development of adults and youth as well as the promotion of voluntary activities.
baLTic activities are implemented mainly by the founder of the organisation, who also acts as a project manager, along with the group of volunteers and external experts/ trainers and educators.
baLTic aims at improving the set of the key competences and skills for young people, including those young people with fewer opportunities, while promoting the importance of the entrepreneurial identity. One of the main objectives of the organisation is to promote participation in democratic life in Europe and the labour market, active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity, in particular through increased learning mobility opportunities for young people, those active in youth work or youth organisations and youth leaders, and through strengthened links between the youth field and the labour market; foster quality improvements in youth work, in particular through enhanced cooperation between organisations in the youth field.
baLTic is also actively involved in ERASMUS+ programme (KA1 Mobility of Individuals) providing an adult education opportunities for the staff of schools, adult education centres and universities to carry out staff training, thus helping them develop and share knowledge and experience at institutions and organisations in different countries.
baLTic fields of interest are mainly related to the projects, that are focused on the Mobility for young people and youth workers (ERASMUS+ KA1) particularly projects with a strong entrepreneurial impact as well as the Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices (ERASMUS+ KA2).
