Balıkesir University

It has 9 faculties, 5 research institutes, 12 vocational colleges, and 10 research centers. The university has 39. 000 higher education students, and 2000 academic-nonacademic staffs that has education, medicine and veterinary faculties. Education faculty was established in 1910 and one of the famous faculty in Turkey (Necatibey Education Faculty). BAUN has coordinate and participate in national and International Erasmus+ projects on rehabilitation of disabled and addict young people. There are academic staff skilled with rehabilitation methodology. BAUN have different quality systems using in various fields (education, agriculture, veterinary medicine , health, food, management ) as ISO 9000 and others.
