Balkan Kültürleri İttifakı Derneği (BAKIDER)

Known as BAKİDER, the Organization of the Alliance of Balkan Cultures is a non-governmental organization founded in January 2017. The NGO is finding and connecting the common values of Balkan countries promoting them with projects related to culture, education, tourism, economy and humanitarian work.

Our Mission is to prove that cultural, ethnical, racial and religious differences are not a threat at all, but instead a great wealth harmonizing the world, spreading it as a social understanding.

The Transnational Projects we organized and were part of are as follows:

The Pen Campaign Project in Partnership with the Humanitarian Relief Foundation, continuously sending school materials to the child victims of war.
The International Conscience Convoy in Partnership of various NGOs where 10 thousand women gathered in Turkish-Syrian borders from 55 countries to rise one voice against the injustices imposed on 6457 Syrian women in prison by the Assad regime. As BAKİDER, we hosted and coordinated the participation of 200 women of 5 different associations from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the convoy.
The Brotherhood Ramadan Breaking Fast Programs organized in Bosnia through the partnership of Turkish Municipality, International Humanitarian relief foundation, İstanbul Educational center of Sarajevo and BAKİDER, feeding about 3 thousand individuals.
Our NGO has organized projects at the national level as well, an example is “ a travel to Sarajevo” festival organized at the capital of Turkey which moved the food, music and dance traditions to the Turkish public for two days.

At a national level, BAKİDER is organizing education and training programs bringing professionals and students together. The programs are as follows:

Technical Training on international Trade to students and entrepreneurs in partnership with the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara and the Ankara Development Agency.
Weakly Seminars to university Turkish and international students on contemporary issues.
Speaking Practice courses in 13 languages
Orientation programs for new coming international students to Turkey
