BajoTeja Festival

BajoTeja seeks to bring together artists whose practice is related to rural and community themes. It takes place in August in the town of San Lorenzo de Tormes (Ávila, Spain).
BajoTeja, honoring its name, welcomes artists from different generations and backgrounds under the same roof for a week of coexistence. The festival includes film, theater, dance, circus, music and installation proposals, as well as workshops for a wide range of audiences.

BajoTeja generates networks in, with and for the town with the intention of re-inhabiting it not only during the festival, but throughout the year. To re-inhabit the village, not to visit or use it, means a genuine interest and motivation to get to know in depth what are its times, spaces, experiences and needs.
