B&B education and training

B&B Education and Training is a private educational institution specialising in adult education, vocational training and lifelong learning. We help individuals develop practical knowledge, strengthen their competences and improve their employability. Our programmes connect learning with the needs of employers and communities, supporting professional development, personal growth and participation in society.

B&B brings together three organisational units within the same legal entity: B&B Secondary School, B&B Higher Vocational College and B&B Training Centre. Our activities span secondary and higher vocational education, professional qualifications and non-formal learning. Fields include business, logistics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and professional transport training. We also develop and deliver programmes in digital skills, artificial intelligence, financial literacy and other key competences.

We have extensive experience in designing, organising and delivering education for adults and professionals, including people returning to learning or updating their skills. Cooperation with employers and other stakeholders helps us identify competence needs and create relevant learning opportunities. Our approach emphasises accessibility, flexible delivery and the practical application of knowledge.

B&B is also the founder of the College of Sustainable Development (CoSD; Slovenian acronym VŠTR), an independent, private, non-profit higher education institution established in 2008. CoSD combines higher education, applied research and cooperation with businesses, public authorities and civil society. Its undergraduate programme in Sustainable Environmental Management integrates environmental, social, economic and governance perspectives, preparing students to address sustainability challenges in organisations and communities.

CoSD’s expertise includes circular economy, environmental management, sustainable business models, renewable energy, sustainable mobility and spatial development. Its interdisciplinary research group connects natural and social sciences through policy analysis, impact assessment and practical recommendations. Knowledge exchange is supported by scientific publications and the international conference series Challenges of Sustainable Development. CoSD also implements Erasmus+ student and staff mobilities and Blended Intensive Programmes.

We are interested in international partnerships focused on education, digital and green competences, employability and sustainable development. B&B can contribute training design and delivery, employer engagement and access to adult learners and professional groups. CoSD brings complementary expertise in applied research, evaluation, sustainability education and knowledge transfer. Depending on the project and participating organisation, we can support needs assessments, learning materials, workshops, pilots, stakeholder engagement and dissemination.
