AZIMUT

Civic Organization Azimut was founded by three professionals in April 2014 in Košice, as a platform for organizing the festival Matrioshka and other events during the year. We believe that the most important values in the society are a democracy and a freedom. Therefore we want to spread these values between people.
AZIMUT is a civic association that is not linked to any ideology or political party. The aim of the association is to implement and support activities in the field of education and cultural/social activities based on theme of the criticism of the totalitarian state system; not only at local and national level, but also for nearby border regions. Association will support private and public activities which are helping to revive the consciousness of democratic values in our society and to help minimize social impacts of extremist groups and their ideas in order to stop their propaganda and prevent restoration of the totalitarian regime in any shape or form.
