Arbeiterwohlfahrt Kreisverband-Hildesheim (AWO) is an organisation established in 13.12.1919, as a workers supporting group. AWO-Hildesheim as a branch of this organisation in Lower Saxony works in daily basis, to help and support communities at our region. The areas of work of our organization have changed constantly in accordance to societies need but not our strong motivation to always strive for a better world. From 'People to People' is the leitmotif of our work. Nowadays AWO Hildesheim is an versatile social organization combining professional social work, activism, volunteering with efficient economical cost. The organisation is a recognized leading association of independent welfare all over Germany.
