Awesome People

The story of Awesome People started when the two founders saw a need of an organization working with innovative methods locally in Örebro region with the target group youngsters and young adults 13-30 years old. They wanted to work in the rural areas and with young people who not normally engage in different activities.

The organization was officially registered in 2013 when the idea of the PiFbase method was tested with a pilot group of 6 girls from Kopparberg. With small resources but with giant aspirations we developed the organization where the main mission is to make people be and feel awesome!

We do this by actively work with our corner stones:
Awesome People works with projects, trainings, workshops, camps and youth exchanges locally, regionally and at european level. Beside our mission we want to strengthen the quality in youth work and reenforce and broaden the participation in meaningful free time activities for youngsters who normally don't engage and promote the cooperation and integration between different youth groups.
