AVATAR Association

AVATAR is a Romanian non-governmental organisation active in the fields of youth, education, culture and social inclusion. The organisation works with young people, educators, youth workers and communities, using non-formal education, participatory approaches and cultural tools to support learning, personal development and active citizenship.

AVATAR designs and implements local, national and international projects, including Erasmus+ initiatives, addressing themes such as inclusion, critical thinking, wellbeing, civic engagement, cultural participation and access to education. The organisation has experience working with diverse target groups, including young people with fewer opportunities, people with disabilities and communities with limited access to cultural and educational resources.

Through its activities, AVATAR aims to create safe and meaningful learning spaces, encourage dialogue and reflection, and contribute to long-term social and educational change at community level.

    International training for youth workers using applied theatre methods to develop critical thinking through real-life situations, dialogue and reflection.
