Atidim strives to build a strong Israeli society, while utilizing the human potential in Israel's periphery for the benefit of individuals, society and the Israeli economy. Atidim achieves this goal by cultivating excellence and higher education, and by providing tools for becoming a productive part of Israeli society.

For over a decade Atidim has been striving to bridge the social-financial gaps between Israel's periphery and its center. By promoting excellence and academic education in technological and scientific disciplines, Atidim's programs integrate bright young people from Israel's periphery in the heart of Israel's economy and society. Its wide range of programs allows Atidim to truly change Israeli society and to encourage excellence as early as junior high. Young participants are integrated in programs for technological academic studies, which end in professional placement in Israeli industrial companies and in the IDF's technological units.

Atidim operates among all sectors of society out of an understanding of the needs of Israeli society, and acts to incorporate them in Israel's social-financial fabric. To fulfill its vision, Atidim collaborates with government ministries, the IDF, leading technological companies and top universities and colleges. Through its activity, Atidim built a scientific, technological human infrastructure that includes over 5,000 alumni, who form an integral part of Israel's efforts to develop its periphery.
