The Çat District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry is a public authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, operating in the Çat district of Erzurum. The Directorate supports local farming and livestock development through farmer advisory and extension services, food safety and official controls, support to crop and animal production, animal health and welfare services, registration/monitoring, and coordination of rural development actions.
Working with local stakeholders (district administration, education institutions, cooperatives and producer groups, universities and NGOs), the Directorate promotes sustainable agriculture, climate adaptation, digital transformation and inclusive rural growth. We are open to partnering in Erasmus+ and other national/international programmes for capacity building, vocational education and training (VET), exchange of good practices, and rural innovation projects.
