Associazione Pro Loco Atripaldese

'Associazione Pro Loco of Atripalda was founded in 1971 by Carmine Spagnuolo and Achilles Picariello, respectively, which once covered the role of President and Secretary. For over a decade this association has developed an intense cultural promotion activities. Relaunched in 1994, the Pro Loco, today presided over by Raffaele Labate, promotes important historical, cultural and recreational activities: concerts, exhibitions of painting and photography, fun days for children and prevention campaigns, as well asIt promotes important socio-cultural and recreational activities, such as concerts, painting and photography exhibitions, days dedicated to children, prevention campaigns(working together with AMDOS, another assosiation in the field of health), as well as the well-known events such as the sacred representation of the WAY OF THE CROSS "Eli Eli, lemà sabactanì?" and "Giullarte"(an artistic event which promotes the local cultural crafts), and CHILDREN'S DAY ( project introduced as a way to create a moment of social aggregation dedicated exclusively to the young ones, with the partecipation of children with disabilities). Those activities every year attract tourists from all over the region. In addition, the Association offers free information services and tourist reception to groups of visitors and school children from different towns and nations. . In addition, for some years, the Association provides to groups of visitors and school groups from different counties and nations with a service of information and tourist accommodation, being the point IAT (Tourist Information) in agreement with the City of Atripalda. The Pro Loco is a Association on a voluntary basis by private non-profit, but with public relevance and purpose of social promotion, tourism, potential of cultural and gastronomic history of the City of Atripalda.
Specifically, the activities of the Pro Loco of Atripalda include:
  a) promotion of a culture of information for tourists and also with the opening of appropriate offices;
b) organization of useful initiatives to develop knowledge of the attractions of Atripalda even outside of the municipal management and services of interest to tourists;
c) promotion of initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the town of Atripalda;
d) development of social activities;
e) promotion of cultural events, organization of conferences, concerts and raffles and management of clubs within the town of Atripalda.
       The Association Pro Loco Atripaldese, as IAT (Information and Tourist) as determined by the agreement signed in 2006 with the City of Atripalda, offers information about local resources and environmental, landscape and history, places of workship, museums, exhibitions and events; collaboration offers free of charge in the organization of local events; organizes tourist ensuring availability of safe guides in particular in the territory. The Association, having among its institutional promotion of tourism in harmony with the laws of the region of Campania, and the promotion and protection of nature and environment, cultural heritage and artistic related to tourism also social and academic produces and distributes information and promotional material of the territory.
