Paese Parallelo (parallel country) is a non profit organization which provides high interaction and communication between citizens in our area and those living in the neighborhood, in different fields supported by a team of experts in different areas: education, coaching, mentoring, legal advice, entrepreneurs, European Project Management, economists and lecturers.

Paese parallelo was born in 2012 for the badly needs of the citizens of Capo d’Orlando to make a fast move and increase the wellbeing of the town. Coming out from an almost election in governing the city of Capo d’Orlando, we have generated Parallel Country. Parallel in Maths means: “lines that are parallel are at the same distance apart at every point along their whole length” as macmillan dictionary says. Country in English means: “an area of land that has its own government and official borders” def. macmillan dictionary. In Italian country does not only mean that, but also town, village, a very small town in the countryside; The real reason why Paese parallelo was born, has been to assist that area of citizens in Capo d’Orlando who general will was different from the rest of the town and to increase in legalization on them. Situated in the North of Sicily, we are well connected, in friendship and in the working area, with many towns and villages of whole Sicily as well as Italy. Our organization boasts a large numbers of activities created without any National or International support. Time has come to grow in knowledge, opinion exchange, international cultural customs to make an International move for whole our citizens, especially for the young generation.
