The Dajai Association was born in December 2019 from an idea shared by a group of very different friends in terms of background and origin.
The goal is to activate educational paths that use a multidisciplinary method, an experiential operational key aimed at inclusion.
Among its peculiarities there is the research group "Storia Viva" particularly attentive to the paths of memory, human rights, the enhancement of the territory and the natural environment, traditions, ancient knowledge and outdoor experiences, environmental education and education for sustainability.
Our educational paths use a series of expressive and cognitive tools ranging from reading, to psychomotor skills, to dramatization, with the aim of giving all participants the opportunity to find their own expressive "register".
The link and the supporting structure of the various educational proposals pass through the practice of the game, which assumes a fundamental importance and under the guise of a simple pastime in truth it operates in depth, creating platforms and experiences of future and present evolution.
The other area of interest is that of solidarity and encounter, our association is called Dajai (Dage ') name suggested by two of our members of Gambian origin which in the African language Wolof means MEETING, and it is precisely the encounter that our philosophy is our starting point.
The encounter is the will through which we can propose and pursue meaningful and educational experiences aimed at a whole series of potential recipients (migrants, adolescents out of school, the elderly, children of migrants, weak social groups) to whom we address and which through meeting and sharing some values and experiences can try to feel more understood.
