“VALERIA MARTINA MUSIC PROJECT ASSOCIATION” is a nonprofit making registered organization formed under the corporations laws of the Italian state. The association has got its own Constitution and a Constitution board. The legally registered head office of the Association is located at 143 Mazzini Street in Massafra (Taranto).The organization's mission is to widespread music culture among people in order to increase mental wellness, self-evaluation, richer artistic appreciation and perspectives in life; to promote human and civil growth through the ideal of permanent education; to strengthen human solidarity by drawing the attention to the importance of supporting interventions in favour of disadvantaged people and ethnic groups. To pursue its objectives the Association promotes cultural activities such as:festivals, trainings, concerts, cultural exchanges, competitions and any other musical, cultural and social event; collaborations with institutions as well as with public and private bodies;any other activity which can be helpful to boost and disseminate the knowledge of the musical culture. The Executive Director of the Association is freely engaged in all the activities as a violinist, the orchestra and choir director, the composer of music repertory.
The Association's educational aim in the field of music is notable, especially because it works in an area of Italy,the south, where there are a few chances of practising music and playing in concerts after young musicians end their studies and where people hardly go to concerts.
