Association Volunteering 4 All

The "Volunteering for All" Association is a non-governmental, non-profit and independent association, established in 2012 for the benefit of the public by a group of young students and volunteers from Resita.

The aim of this group is to create youth activities and to involve more young people in volunteer activities. This association was born from the need to address the many problems that its members have identified as recurrent for young people in Resita and those living in the villages of Caras-Severin County; those young people being the target group who are assisted by various activities.

The association was created with the priority of involving young people in volunteer activities, and they, in turn, will increase awareness and responsibility for the society in which they live. Another goal of the Volunteer for All Association is to improve the economic, educational and social situation of citizens.

To achieve this goal, the association proposes the following activities:

-Increasing the organizational capacity of young people;
-Supporting young people in improving their problem-solving skills;
-Collaboration with organizations in Romania and abroad for the implementation of projects that support young people;
-Creating community involvement programs to prevent prejudice against disadvantaged groups;
-Hosting cultural, artistic, educational, applied scientific activities, sports and tourism activities for people and organizations in the country and abroad that will promote multiculturalism;
-Activities that promote, monitor and defend human rights;
-Initiating and carrying out activities that promote democracy, volunteering and European citizenship;
-Initiation of volunteer programs and activities in the field of activity of the organization;
-Promoting volunteering and education, especially in rural areas;
-Hosting youth activities: educational, cultural, sports, environmental;
-Creating social intervention programs to prevent social exclusion;
-Fighting unemployment;
-Vocational training, guidance and counseling;
-Promoting tolerance, diversity and equality in society;
-Supporting and supporting civil society organizations.

Our association was created and led by young people who promote the interests of other young people in and around Resita. and who are trying to raise their motivation to get more involved in the local community and in the decision-making process of the issues that concern them. We organize informal meetings, workshops, seminars, debates, events and other events through which we try to encourage people's interest and participation in democratic principles, public affairs and the daily life of local communities in Caras-Severin.

We form an information and search center for the volunteer stages, so that, using the knowledge from volunteer activities, people will understand and treat the social, economic, cultural and linguistic barriers of life through the principles of tolerance for diversity, open discussions, active initiatives, shared experiences, non-formal volunteer education and informal learning.
