The Association Papillon d'Honneur de Mangajou (ASPH) is an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901, whose aim is to practice sports activities, more specifically soccer, as well as socio-educational and cultural activities.
Located in the village of Mangajou, the club was founded in the 1980s. The club currently has six teams: - U7 - U9 - U11 - U13 - U15 - Senior. The club's senior team plays in the Poule Sud in Regionale 3 of the Ligue de Football de Mayotte. In 2024, the club had 150 members. We have 80 youth licenses, between the ages of 6 and 17, representing 46.24% of our members.
Our club faces a number of challenges linked to geographical, economic and infrastructure limitations. Coaches need advanced training, which is difficult to access due to isolation. Sports infrastructures are inadequate, with an urgent need for improvements to accommodate members. Financial constraints limit the acquisition of equipment and participation in external competitions. Youth involvement is crucial to preventing delinquency and promoting social inclusion, but is hampered by unemployment and a lack of activities. Finally, insufficient institutional support complicates access to necessary subsidies.
We aim to improve the technical and pedagogical skills of our supervisors through mobility projects aligned with the Erasmus+ program in the field of sport, and youth exchanges.
We are open to any collaboration and partnership that will give the young people of Mangajou the means to dream, progress and achieve.
