association Generation

Association Générations is an independent, non-profit NGO founded in 2002 in Azrou, a mountain town in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco. With over 20 years of grassroots experience, we work with children, young people and women from urban and rural communities in Ifrane Province, many of them facing social and economic barriers.

Our mission is to contribute to an inclusive, modern society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. Our values are transparency, democracy, credibility and solidarity.

We operate through a participatory governance model, including an “Association Parliament” where beneficiaries and members regularly evaluate our programmes. Our work is organised in four poles and seven specialised clubs:

Cultural & Artistic Club: creative workshops, intercultural openness, promotion of Amazigh heritage and identity
Sports Club: sports schools and talent development, covering physical training, mental preparation, nutrition, fair play and first aid
Health & Environment Club: awareness campaigns, medical caravans, clean-up and tree-planting actions, eco-citizenship education
Travel & Camping Club: summer camps and outdoor exploration that develop autonomy, teamwork and communication
Digital Club: digital skills and safe, responsible use of technology for youth and women
Women’s Club: legal awareness, listening and support for women facing violence, vocational and craft training
Social & Solidarity Club: support for vulnerable people and people with disabilities, solidarity economy and income-generating initiatives

We are new to Erasmus+ and eager to build our first international partnerships. We can host activities in a unique natural and cultural setting (the Middle Atlas cedar forests, Amazigh culture) and bring motivated young participants, experienced youth workers and strong local networks with public institutions.
