Association for environmental improvement E group

Association for Environmental Improvement E group Zenica is founded in early 2011, in order to work on environmental protection and improvement, to contributes to sustainable development and to make positive impact to the quality of life of population in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Amoung our recent activities we have:
- Start up - Women empowering Project supported by US Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- Project "Be a Friend of Nature", set of workshops on waste management organized for youth – pupils of local primary and secondary schools, supported by local private companies
- Project EFEKT Coalition, ongoing (2013-2014), supported by EU, IPA 2012, E group in partnership with 5 other organizations in order to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Project „A good host - the contribution to the development of tourism in the municipality Zavidovići “ that was leaded by Rafting club Krivaja Zavidovići, where E group was a partner with great responsibilities in realisation of the project. The activities were to promote environmental protection and to straighten tourism capacities. This project is implemented as a part of UNDP project “Strengthening Local Democracy” – LOD II that was financed by European Commission.
Related to previous experience with YiA, we would like to mention our organization participated as presenter in International Conference “The Art of Developing Global Perspectives Together” held in Frankfurt in November 2013, organized by IJAB – International Youth Service of Federal Republic of Germany.
