Association "Accordia Initiative for Dialogue, Cooperation, Education and Sustainable Social Development"

Accordia Initiative is a civil society association based in Požarevac, Serbia, working at the intersection of dialogue, cooperation, education and sustainable social development.

Our work connects education and lifelong learning with active citizenship, human rights and the rule of law, dialogue and social cohesion, digital and media literacy, critical thinking, culture and intercultural learning. We work with children, young people and adults, educators and other professionals, citizens and local communities, civil society actors and institutions, adapting activities to the needs and context of each project.

Established in 2026, Accordia Initiative brings together a multidisciplinary team with long-standing professional experience across education, law and institutional affairs, digital and technical fields, culture and related areas. This expertise provides a strong basis for educational and non-formal learning activities, capacity building, development of learning content and methodologies, research and needs assessment, community engagement, dialogue and participatory processes, and digital, media and cultural activities.

Accordia Initiative is open to Erasmus+ and other European and international partnerships where there is a clear match between project objectives and our expertise. We are particularly interested in cooperation involving education and lifelong learning, youth participation and active citizenship, human rights, digital and media literacy, intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and sustainable social development. Depending on the project, we can contribute to needs assessment, participant and stakeholder outreach, local implementation and piloting, educational activities, development and adaptation of content and methods, mobility and exchange activities, communication and dissemination, and monitoring and evaluation.

We value partnerships based on clear roles, meaningful participation, exchange of knowledge and good practice, and cooperation that can produce practical and sustainable benefits for participants and communities.
