Associação Olhos da Juventude

The Olhos da Juventude is an association of private non-profit organization that began its captivity to February 3, 2012 in Almancil and was founded by a group of young people who share a common dream.The Olhos da Juventude aims to develop social-oriented projects, cultural, sporting and training that affirm equal opportunity rights for all European citizens and that is in itself an asset in the social development of our society.We also propose to adopt a constructive approach based on dialogue and partnerships with individuals and other organizations whose missions intersect with the Associação Olhos da Juventude.With a vital role in the community, thanks to the dynamic spirit, irreverent, nonconformist and daring young people are a key element in the development of the municipality of Loulé, in Algarve (PORTUGAL).So, are the main lines of action of the AOJ, the following:- To promote the civic, physical, cultural, scientific and intellectual of all young people;-Establish The connection of youth to the socio-economic reality of the European Union and in particular in Portugal;-Defender And promote the fundamental values of the human being, in the Universal Declaration of Human Rigts-to Help young people to participate in the discussion of local council problems, regional and national;-to Promote sports activities character, cultural, youth and educational.-Other Of a similar nature.In addition the association promotes regular cultural activities, such as teatre classes, contemporary dance and classical ballet to young people from 6 to 29 years. Yet the cultural side, we have created performances in the parishes of Almancil and Quarteira thus spreading the cultural work of our association by main urban centers of the municipality of Loulé.Side of the debate and through our institutional partners created thematic debates centered on various themes and directed to several audiences.The sporting side, we created several dynamic of a sports promotion logic and the creation of healthy lifestyle habits in an educational aspect, through the knowledge gained during the project Loulé European City of Sport in 2015.For example we highlight the following initiatives:1 Spectacle Quarteira City Talent;2 Day of Europe Day of Open Doors in Quarteira, Almancil, Loulé and Faro.3- Conference: The importance of languages for European citizens;4 Youth Festival;5- Theatre Classes, contemporary dance, classical ballet and sports (weekly);6- Festive and commemorative dates;7. Support for young people (school support)
