Associação de Ludotecas do Porto

Associação de Ludotecas do Porto (ALP) was founded in 1987 as a non-profit private social solidarity institution. Our vision is to contribute to integral development of children, youth and families, protecting and promoting their Rights as well as supporting social integration and the community. ALP defends the educational value of leisure activities and seeks to enable the full exercise of the rights of the citizens. Considering the Animation as a multidisciplinary area, that contributes to acquiring of creative expression and communication skills, as well as to promotes diverse development processes, in 1990 Associação de ludotecas do Porto (ALP) founded Anilupa - Animation studio of ALP.

Centro Lúdico da Imagem Animada_ANILUPA (CLIA_ANILUPA) is a educational and leisure centre of ALP, which has developed various types of intervention based on Animation. The target group is young people and children, as well as adults and other groups willing to discover and experiment the endless world of Animation. Besides these activities, CLIA-ANILUPA also promotes the development of relationship with a local community, networking and building partnerships with other organizations and is integrated in education and cultural circuit of Porto.
