Associació A fil de vent

A fil de vent was born in June 2022 thanks to the common belief of a group of youth workers that it is possible (and necessary) to combat social injustices.

The work team of the A fil de vent association is made up of a group of young women who decided to unite their professional experience individually in the world of youth work and non-formal and informal education with the intention of carrying out a new path of professional development but also vital, capable of responding to the needs and problems that young people encounter nowadays.

We believe that in this desire to transform society into a more egalitarian, tolerant and committed society, one of the key values must be the interpersonal and intrapersonal connection, since this allows the creation of deep, authentic and lasting ties between people, which in turn it is the necessary root for a society that is not oblivious to the problems of others.

We work sustainably with our national and international partners and stakeholders because we intend to carry out projects that allow us to implement from the beginning the importance of reconciling the professional part with the vital part of each human being.

For us it is of great importance to develop a reliable network at the local, national and international level that provides us with mutual support in the exchange of good practices, in the promotion of active citizenship and in the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities.

Main aims of the organisation:
-To promote the social inclusion of people at risk of social exclusion regardless of sociocultural and/or socioeconomic causes to make them active members of citizenship.
-To promote the use of art and creativity as tools capable of generating new ideas to obtain new opportunities at a vital and professional level.
-To raise awareness about the importance of mental health and the close benefits between mental health and nature to generate healthy habits on a personal and collective level.
-To support people in their own process of growth and personal discovery through critical and analytical thinking, experiential methods, and non-formal education.
-Promotion of lifestyles in harmony with nature with the intention of avoiding rural depopulation in Catalonia and Spain through intergenerational and intercultural exchange.
-Creation of a network at the local, national and international level that allows collaboration between organizations that work in the same field of action to promote the exchange of good practices, methodologies and activities.
