We have developed projects at local level to change the attitude of pupils (and adults) regarding the waste generating by people. We organized competition between pupils guided by teachers from schools in order to transform different kind of wastes in useful or decorative objects.

In other projects we organized contests which are involved children from pre-universitary school system to create mosaics from colored plastic bottle caps with different topics: Earth Day, the planting tree month, etc. This kind of action was made in order to warning the local community about increase of plastic waste amount, especially of plastic bottle, so harmful to the environment because of their low biodegradability. Also, these action was warning signals regarding the need to increase recycling of this kind of material.
