Asociatia "Tinerii Ecologi Romani din Iasi"

The goal is creating the organizational and legal framework for all students and young people interested in biological matters and ecology problems and environmental protection, in order to promote the ideas and actions that lead to knowledge, the development and improvement in these areas. Teris aims for projects with themes like entrepreneurship, democracy and active citizenship, non-formal learning, health, innovation, human rights, dance, leadership and sustainable development. Some of our most important projects that define the Teris Association are: Iasi is Recycling, Student School of Ecology, Green satchel, Gaudeamus Festival, UniFest Festival, we also realized activities in highschools based on non-formal learning. Recently, we also organised local activities related to Earth Hour Event and World Water Day during which we held workshops like origami and recycling and we informed people about the importance of these days. Some of our members have been involved in YiA projects about environmental education or in other environmental education, cultural and educational projects at local level.
