ASOCIATIA TARABOSTES - DEZVOLTARE PRIN EDUCATIE - ATDE

ASOCIATIA TARABOSTES - DEZVOLTARE PRIN EDUCATIE - A.T.D.E. (TARABOSTES ASSOCIATION - DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EDUCATION - ATDE) is a non-governmental organization founded in decembrie 2016, located in Pesceana, Valcea County.
Our vision is to be a strong supporter of sustainable development through education and concrete actions in local communities.
Our mission is to provide learning/action opportunities especially for young people but also to all people who need and want to to develop psychologically, physically and spiritually as healthy and strong-minded people.
The aim of the association is to promote and support development, in particular through non-formal and formal education in which is facilitated the access of any person to training methods and programs that contribute to social development and evolution, professional and economic development of individuals and society as a whole, as well as to promote and implement actions and projects in the field of sustainable development.
Our values/principles are the following:
1. Good faith in our dealings with all persons and entities with whom we interact - under no circumstances we will not intentionally harm rights and/or legitimate interests of others;
2. Lifelong participatory learning - members, collaborators of the association, beneficiaries, facilitators, trainers and other participants, together and permanently, acquire and develop new competences that they constantly capitalise on;
3. Action - we apply in practice the acquired competences for the benefit of ourselves and of the community; For us, action is at the same time a very effective way of improving our learning and skills;
4. Inclusion - in our activities no one may be discriminated or excluded on the basis of sex, religion, nationality, opinion, beliefs, class or social status; discriminated people and people with reduced opportunities etc. are supported to access our activities, programs and projects;
5. Cooperation - all our activities are carried out in a spirit of cooperation, not competition; we are aware of the many and greater benefits of cooperation over competition;
6. Integrity - in everything we do, we always act in accordance with our values;
7. Prosperity - resources are abundant, sufficient, available, renewable, recyclable and reusable; they can be available to all and everyone through knowledge and efficient management.
Among the objectives of ATDE we mention:
- promotion of projects/actions with and for young people, projects aimed at young people's needs and their development such as: supporting the development and initiatives of young people, the development of entrepreneurship, of a profession, of a career, encouraging voluntary work among young people, encouraging participation in personal development sessions, etc.
- international cooperation through external partnerships with organisations from all over the world to carry out similar actions with the aims and objectives of our association;
- designing, submitting and implementing projects, on its own or in partnership with other organisations, in order to attract European non-reimbursable funds (...) in order to finance actions, activities, projects necessary to achieve the purpose of the Association and the objectives of sustainable development.
The staff of our organisation consists of 10 people, including founding members, collaborators and volunteers. The operational part of association is structured in 5 departments: the Strategic Development Department (SDD), Education Programs Department (DPE), Projects Department (DPFN), Volunteer Center (CV) and Finance and Accounting Department (DFC).
