Sirinia Association aims to ensure an organized framework for the development, promotion and support of certain activities which allow individuals as well as legal persons to harness their skills, individual and professional traits as well as their free initiative. In order to achieve the above mentioned goal, the Association is constantly engaged in the activities here below: - increase of the educational level as well as of the training resources of individuals - development of human resources in education - promotion of entrepreneurship - facilitation of youth access to labour market - development of an inclusive, flexible and modern labour market - promotion of the (re) insertion in the labour market of inactive people, including those in rural areas - improvement of the public employment service - facilitation of the access to education and employment for vulnerable social groups - promotion of the endogenous potential of territories - improvement of local governance - collaboration with institutions which are responsible for environmental protection and/or protection of nature - measures of collective interest, training, networking and consulting - activities which will result in partnership initiatives with local and central public authorities - reinforcement of the mechanism of consultation with local and central authorities - development of various cooperation procedures between public authorities and local partners - consultancy and research for conducting institutional analyzes/diagnoses as well as the implementation of the resulting proposals - sharing of good practices and their widespread application, study tours, organizing seminars, conferences and internships in order to improve the quality and efficiency of service delivery
Sirinia Association collaborates with various institutions, with individuals and legal persons, including those of the local and central government as well as with other authorized institutions in order to create programmes, materials and activities which to ensure a better functionality of state institutions (municipalities, schools, educational institutions and organizations).
Sirinia Association facilitates and interposes local, regional and transboundary partnerships between various NGOs, organizes workshops whose main goal is to identify people with special skills and abilities, trains, coordinates, promotes and improves youth in order to actively engage them in civic life.
Sirinia Association works closely with specialists and qualified personnel in various domains who can perform as leaders, coordinators, assistants in different projects developed, implemented and supported by the Association.
Sirinia Association signs sponsorship contracts with various public and private law traders in the attempt to persuade these into making investments in economically and socially deprived areas.
Sirinia Association organizes seminars, conferences, camps and educational programmes, develops instructional, support, consultancy and expertise themes regarding the development and implementation of youth programmes, of regional, national and international social projects; it also grants diplomas, awards and other incentives.
Sirinia Association performs activities and services which generate the funds required for its proper functioning; it is also engaged in any other activities needed in order to fulfill the purpose indicated in the Regulations and the Founding Documents, within their limits and according to the law.
The members of Sirinia Association are as follows:
- 3 founding members who perform as the President, Vice President and Senior Vice President
- 20 individuals and 5 legal persons
- honorary members: two companies, a police commissioner and the Mayor of Berzasca
- 20 supporting members among who, besides the founding members, we draw attention to key people who concur to the proper functioning and progress of the Association: secretary, IT and PR responsibles, accountant, project coordinators, department leaders, educators etc.
Therefore, the overall staff of Sirinia Association consists of 15 people, active members, 28 people, supporting members, 4 honorary members, more than 50 Romanian volunteers and 20 foreign volunteers.
The idea for the project “FROM BLACK & WHITE TO COLOURES” emerged from our desire to improve and continue our activities in Berzasca.
The project will impact positive change for children from vulnerable backgrounds and build competences for the volunteers, in a non-formal learning environment.
Project aimed at building a better future for children from emotionally vulnerable backgrounds by integrating them in a non-formal learning program.
EVS project in Arad, Romania, that will take place from March 2017 for 7 months. Each partner has to select and prepare 2 volunteers.
