Asociatia Se Poate

« Se Poate » Association is an NGO registered in 2014 made by young people for young people. The organization gathers volunteers, friends and youth workers from different parts of the country with a common interest in sharing their personal and professional experience with exploring active young people in the area of non-formal education.

Our aims are:

• support social and professional insertion for young people and adults, especially for those belonging to minorities and those with outstanding educational outcomes;
• develop and promote intercultural exchanges among the youngsters, by helping them get in touch with people from all around the European Union and not only.
• sustainable development by promoting solutions for the protection of natural and cultural heritage villages in Romania;
Our mission:

• To provide intercultural learning experiences for youngsters;
• To promote intercultural understanding, equal opportunities, tolerance and respect among people in the world;
• To help youngsters in their social and personal development through international projects;

Culture, international learning, self-development and entrepreneurship are the most significant and strategically important ways through which young people can develop and form themselves, both physically, as well as mentally. This is why our organization has dedicated time and support promoting international cooperation and, therefore, supporting intercultural changes between people of young ages, managing to create relationships, perhaps even bonds, between countries, communities and between people of these countries.

We dream, create and craft educational experiences. We are active in the area of non-formal education by providing educational events for youths, international exchanges or training courses for trainers and youth workers. Until now, we have participated in intercultural exchanges in different countries, intercultural events in Bucharest, different cross and sports events, local social events, seminars and debates.

The methods we use in our work are the methods of non-formal education: experiential learning, learning through playing, personal development methods, outdoor education, creativity workshops, coaching, theatre, and learning by doing.

We strongly believe that individual change is possible when people take personal responsibility and that change in society is possible when we all create opportunities.
